About the Founder

I'm Will McCreery, and my journey is the very foundation of The First Class Method. It's a path forged through rigorous academic challenge and real-world application, culminating in a proprietary framework designed to unlock unparalleled potential in ambitious students.

My academic story began at a UK Grammar school, where I cultivated a deep and enduring interest in learning. This early dedication afforded me 8 A*s and 2 As at GCSE, and A*s in Mathematics, Physics, and Geology (with an A in German) at A-Level. I proudly placed top in my year for both Physics and Geology, and almost top nationally in Geology.

This strong academic bedrock led me to Oxford University in 2017, where I pursued an integrated Master’s degree in Earth Sciences. My time at Oxford was profoundly transformative, instilling a deep understanding of how to truly learn, think critically, and perform under immense pressure in a world-class academic environment.

I graduated in 2021 with First-Class Honours, and proudly placed as the third-highest in my year. My intellectual rigour was further recognised with an academic scholarship and awards for the highest marks in advanced mathematics and Seismology. This personal ascent to elite academic distinction provided me with a lived, intimate understanding of the dedication, strategic thinking, and unwavering resilience essential for top-tier success.

Applying my Earth Sciences degree and mathematical background, I transitioned into the demanding world of data engineering for the geosciences. In these roles, I've worked with some of the world's largest oil and gas companies, specializing in highly unconventional and ambiguous data challenges for very high-value clients. This professional experience has further sharpened my strategic thinking, problem-solving acumen, and ability to deliver precise solutions in high-stakes environments.

For over five years, I've also channeled this expertise and my personal insights into tutoring and mentoring ambitious students. This extensive experience, combined with my own academic journey, revealed a systematic approach to elite academic success – the very foundation upon which The First Class Method was built. My passion is now singularly dedicated to empowering the next generation of driven students in the Middle East and Asia, to not only master their subjects but to cultivate the intellectual fortitude required to thrive in the most competitive university landscapes and beyond.
